Shinrin Yoku · 森林浴
Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing, is a Japanese practice of consciously, mindfully being in the forest. The term literally means “bathing in the atmosphere of the forest”. It is more than a walk: by engaging all the senses and staying in the here and now, it leads to genuine relaxation and wellbeing.
Forest bathing lowers cortisol, the stress hormone.
It eases symptoms of low mood and anxiety.
It helps you fall asleep and improves sleep quality.
It supports focus, working memory and creative thinking.

We leave phones and hurry behind. We slow our steps, the breath begins to settle.

Invitations to mindfulness: the touch of bark, the scent of the forest floor, the sounds of the woods. Being here and now.

We close the session with a calm circle and tea made from the forest’s gifts.
About me
I spent two years hitchhiking around the world. That experience changed the way I see everything, for good.
By training I hold two philology degrees and a postgraduate diploma in sport psychology. But what truly shapes me is travel and contact with nature.
I live at the edge of the forest, in a house of straw and clay, my space for living and working in harmony with nature. In my forest I am creating a place where mental and physical growth become one.
My approach brings together positive psychology, mindfulness, mental techniques and working with nature. My aim is to support you in discovering your strengths and potential, in tune with nature and yourself. And above all: to lead you toward stillness and calm.
